This dimly lit wine bar, comfortably decorated with plush sofas, and cigar chairs give way to the sit, stay awhile, and unwind drinking atmosphere.
Apart from being a live house with nightly performances, MV Wine House is one of the few wine bars that I've come across that emphasizes on Korean and Japanese Karaoke. So... if you happen to be in need of a place to take your Korean or Japanese clients that are in the mood for whiskey, wine and singing, this may be the place to go.

Like to sing? KTV is offered in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
MV Wine House has a walk in cellar with wines from California, Chile, Australia and New Zealand just to name a few.
There is also a wide range of old world wines from France, Italy, and a few bottles from Germany. If you're in the mood for some bold reds from Italy, this place boasts a nice selection. They even have some bottles from Washington State, something I don't see very often in Penang.

McLaren Vale a wine producing area located on the coast in South Australia is among one of the many great places producing beautiful bottles of Shiraz in Australia.
Chateau Ste. Michelle one of Washington State's oldest wineries
Amarone della Valpolicella...who can resist this big red from North East Italy known for displaying aromas of chocolate, dark rum, and leather.
It's always nice to see California wine, since I don't see it often enough in Penang.
Clos Du Val, a Napa valley icon that has a reputable reputation for showcasing wines of power and balance. There are also a few bottles of Clos Du Val Chardonnay available at MV Wine House.
Big reds from North West Italy
A bit of bubbly and even a bottle of Grappa, a grape based pomace brandy.
Live singers are featured here nightly, and the atmosphere is much more toned down and relaxed compared to the many live band bars in Penang.
I'm usually a wine person, but I couldn't help but relish over a glass of this whiskey. I was delighted when I got these amazing toffee and almond notes, and then was left in awe by its' addictive honeyed finish.
